A watermark shows who made a picture: your name, your logo or a short line such as © 2026 Your Name. How to Make a Watermark in 3 Steps

    Type your name, @handle or business, and add an icon: one of ours, or your own logo. Your name fills 31 styles at once: signatures, monograms, badges, copyright lines, social handles and logo lockups. Tap one to see it on a photo, then customise its font, colour and size.

  2. Step 2: Make It Yours

    Choose from 600+ fonts, set the size, color and opacity, add a stroke, a shadow or a background box, and check it over a dark, light or photo backdrop. Turn on Tile to repeat it across the whole picture.

  3. Step 3: Download It, or Add Your Files

    Download the watermark as a transparent PNG, or as an overlay sized for CapCut, Alight Motion or Premiere. Or add your photos, videos and documents and press Apply: the same mark goes on every file, and your originals are never changed.

Logo Watermarks

Upload your logo as a PNG, SVG, JPG or another image format, up to 50 MB. A transparent PNG blends in best. On Premium, a logo on a white background can have the white removed in the desktop editor.

Tile, Rotate and Snap

Repeat the watermark across the whole photo with Tile and set the spacing, rotate it to any angle, and let it snap to the edges and the center so it lines up.

Is the watermark maker free?
Yes, to design and to try. Every tool works in the editor and the preview without paying, and the free Basic plan downloads one file per edit. Premium adds 5,000 files per edit, all 600+ fonts, your own fonts, signature watermarks and your own templates.
How do I make a text watermark?
Choose Text in the Watermark tool and type your name, @handle or copyright line; the ©, ® and ™ buttons add the symbols. Pick a font, set the size and opacity, and add a stroke or a shadow if the text has to read on both light and dark parts of the photo.
Can I download my watermark as a transparent PNG?
Yes. Once the watermark looks right, press Download and take it as a transparent PNG up to 2,000 px wide for free, or as a transparent overlay at 1920×1080 or 1080×1920 for a video editor. A 4,000 px PNG is part of Premium.
Can I make a tiled watermark that repeats across the image?
Yes. Turn on Tile and your text or logo repeats across the whole photo; set the spacing and the angle. A tiled watermark leaves no clean corner to crop, which makes it harder to remove.
Can I save my watermark and reuse it later?
Yes. Save the design as a template and load it on your next files. Ten preset templates are free to use; loading your own saved templates is part of Premium.
