Photography Watermarks That Protect Your Work

Add your name, logo or signature to a whole shoot in one edit, and keep your work credited wherever it is shared.

  • No account needed to start
  • Up to 5,000 files per edit

As a photographer, your images are your livelihood. Sharing work online is how clients find you, but it also exposes your photos to theft and uncredited use. Watermark.ws lets you put a watermark on a whole shoot at once, RAW files included, so you can show your work and keep your name on it.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Upload Your Photos

Drag your photos or whole folders onto the page. JPG, PNG, HEIC, TIFF, PSD and 25 RAW formats such as CR3, NEF, ARW and DNG work, up to 100 MB each.

  2. Step 2: Add Your Watermark

Choose a text, logo or signature watermark and set its font, size, opacity and position. Save it as a template to load on your next shoot (a Premium feature).

  3. Step 3: Download and Share

Download your photos one by one or as a zip, for your website, social media or client galleries. RAW and HEIC files come back as JPG.

What you can do

Copyright on Every Photo

Put your name, logo, signature or a © line on your photos. It deters reuse and makes it clear who owns the work, even when a photo is shared far from your site.

A Whole Shoot in One Edit

On Premium, one edit holds up to 5,000 photos. Design the watermark on one, apply it to all of them, and move it on any photo where it covers a face.

Proofs and Portfolios

Use a subtle corner mark for your portfolio and a bold, tiled one or a Protect pattern for client proofs. Set the opacity, size and position to suit each.

Questions people ask

Can I watermark an entire photo shoot at once?
Yes, on Premium: one edit holds up to 5,000 photos, and the watermark you design on one is applied to all of them. Weddings, events and sessions with hundreds of photos fit in a single edit.
Will the watermark reduce my photo quality?
Your originals are never changed, and photos are not scaled down unless you add a resize. There is no compression setting to choose: JPG and PNG come back in their own format, and RAW and HEIC as JPG.
Can I use my photography logo as a watermark?
Yes. Upload your logo, ideally a PNG with a transparent background, and resize, place and fade it to match your style. You can also turn your name into a handwritten signature logo.
Can I show my camera settings on the photo?
Yes, with the Info frame on Premium: it reads the camera, lens and exposure from the photo's EXIF data and adds them, with your name, under the picture.
Is Watermark.ws suitable for client proofing galleries?
Yes. Put a visible watermark or a Protect pattern on the proofs for client selection, then deliver the unwatermarked finals once the client has chosen and paid.
